Alice Marie Pennington, 86, passed away, Sunday morning, July 13, 2025 at Life Care Center in Carrollton, Missouri.
She was born April 16, 1939, in Carrollton, Missouri, daughter of Vernon and Odessa Mae (Stewart) Harman, Sr. She married Earl Lee Ford, Sr and later married Marion Everett (Penny) Pennington who preceded her in death.
Alice worked at Banquet Foods for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carrollton, and she loved working puzzles, gardening, collecting hummingbirds, and watching Sci Fi television shows. Her greatest joy was found in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Alice is survived by two daughters, Starla (Curtis) Fisher and Alisha (Joseph) Guinn, and a son David Wayne (Mary), all of Carrollton, Missouri; two sisters, Betty Horestman, Trenton, Missouri and Barbara Watkins, Trenton, Missouri; two brothers, Donald Ray Harman, Carrollton, Missouri and Vernon (June) Harman, Jr., Bogard, Missouri; and 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Earl Lee Ford, Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Carroll Memory Gardens in Carrollton, Missouri.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
The family suggests contributions to Shirky's Hospice or the family choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bittiker Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri.
