YOUNGSTOWN - Nancy Ann Tuchek Mohney, 70, passed away on September 5, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.
She was born on October 23, 1954, in Youngstown, the daughter of Albert and Stella Gugliem Tuchek.
Nancy began her career working at US Steel before dedicating herself to being a homemaker, where she provided love and support to her family. A graduate of Girard High School, she was proud of her roots in the area and brought warmth and creativity to every endeavor she pursued. Nancy had a passion for crafting beautiful jewelry and was known for her exceptional skills in cake design, delighting family and friends with her creations for numerous special occasions.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Mohney; brothers Albert "Sonny" Tuchek of Austintown and Vincent Tuchek of Youngstown; sister-in-law Dee Tuchek of Hubbard; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Robert Tuchek; and sisters-in-law, Kathleen Tuchek and Carol Tuchek.
Visitation will be held on September 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home - Austintown Chapel, located at 4303 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, OH 44515.
