Alicia Irene Rogers, age 38, of Chattanooga passed away, Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was preceded in death by brother; Jackie Evans, Jr.; aunts Brenda Cates, and Onita Davis; uncles, Ralph, Jeff, Wendell J. and Vernon Pickett: grandfather, Dude Pickett; granny, Leoko Pickett; furbaby, Loki Odin Pawgers.
Alicia was a proud Union Journeyman Lineman out of I.B.E.W, Local 175 with ties to I.B.E.W. Locals 429 and 1249. She loved the Autumn with Halloween being her favorite holiday. She loved the outdoors including hiking, botany, nature and enjoying many other adventures. She enjoyed projects and working with her hands. She was an animal lover. She was a strong, independent leader who helped everyone she could expecting nothing in return. Her Irish heritage has also led to her love of Celtic symbols. She was the most amazing wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and soul mate. She had a tough outer shell with a soft heart and pure soul.
She is survived by her loving wife, Jennifer Murphy. Their union began June 2, 2022; step-children, Ava and Matthew; fur-babies, Sasha Fierce Pawgers, Nikola Roulette Pawgers and Leonidas Pawgers; mother, Glenda Rogers; step-father, Jack Evans, Sr.; sister, Amanda Rogers; niece, Felicia Irene Whitten; aunts, Mona Lisa Hudson, and Lemma Brackett; uncle, Virgil Pickett; brother, Justin Rogers; sister, Audra Evans; nieces, Felicia, Megan, Morgan, and Katie; nephews, Jayden and Dylan; several great-nieces, great nephews, and a host of friends.
Family will receive friends 1PM-6PM, Sunday, October 12, 2025, and 1PM-6PM, Monday, October 13, 2025.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Chattanooga Humane Educational Society (H.E.S.), plant a tree in her memory, or make donations to help the family with funeral costs.
