Alicia Colleen Sullivan, age 49, passed away far too soon at 3:27 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at IU Health in Bloomington. She was a resident of Ellettsville.

Born on March 2, 1976, in Indianapolis, Alicia was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, mamaw, an amazing friend and homemaker. She was of the Catholic faith and loved her family dearly, especially her grandbabies. Alicia had a deep love for the outdoors-especially fishing, hiking, spelunking and traveling. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether watching Little House on the Prairie or Ghost Hunters, or enjoying what she fondly called "Air Therapy" while riding on a motorcycle. Alicia also enjoyed antique shopping.

She will be deeply missed by all who loved her, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Alicia is survived by her mother, Raschel "Shelly" Wolf of Ellettsville; grandmother, Vera Sullivan of Indianapolis; her children, Shane Spears of Nineveh, Breanna Spears of Franklin, and Jerimah Ballard II of Franklin; her siblings, James Patrick Sullivan III of Indianapolis, Ashley Sullivan of Linton, Joseph Jonas of Franklin and Tracy Sullivan of Indianapolis; her beloved grandchildren, Rose McGowan, Levi Spears, Nova, Aurora, and Wrenly Frank; her companion, Rusty Townsend of Camby; her cherished cat, Manly and countless nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Patrick Sullivan II; father of her children, David Shane Spears; grandmother, Alma Jean Coghill-Steortz; and her grandfather, Charles Lee Coghill.

Pastors Jim and Tina Stephens will conduct a funeral service on Monday, July 28th at 7 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Alicia's memory to the "College Fund" for her grandchildren, 2157 N. 500 E. Franklin, IN 46131.
