Allen Eugene Bryan, Age 70, of Tollesboro, Kentucky formerly of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away at Kenton Pointe Hospice of Hope Center in Maysville, Kentucky Friday July 11, 2025 after an extended illness.
Allen was born in Lewis County, Kentucky August 25, 1954 to the late Howard E. and Ruby Kinney Morgan Bryan. Allen worked for saw mills, logging, and farming. But his true passion was being a self-employed businessman where started his own Satellite business called Bryan's Satellite Sales and Service in which he worked for 40 years. Allen was civic minded person joining the Vanceburg Lions Club where he was past President and was the recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship award, this award is the highest form of recognition of the exemplary service to his club and community in which he served. He also supported several community organizations. He was of the Baptist Faith. Allen was a veteran of the United States Army in which he so proudly served.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 48 years Connie Carrington Bryan of Tollesboro, KY.
Two sons- Allen David (Joela) Bryan-Vanceburg, KY.; Joshua (Jenna) Bryan-Tollesboro, KY.
Two granddaughters- Rebecca Colley and Journie Bryan.
Sisters- Debbie Bryan of South Carolina, Mary (Kenneth) Fite of Vanceburg, KY., Pam (Eddie) Gray, and Sharon Howard both of Paducah, KY. Brothers- Harold (Trudy) Bryan- Mt. Orab, Ohio and Jon Smith of Paducah, KY.
Preceded in death beside his parents was a sister- Ruth Ann Henderson, Paternal grandparents- Roy and Lula Virginia Bryan and Maternal grandparents Edgar and Mary Kinney, 3-nephews- Tanner Howard, Adam Gray, and James R. Cooper.
Visitation will be Tuesday July 15, 2025 from 10:00 am till 1:00 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, KY. 41179.
Funeral services will be Tuesday July 15, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Maurice Pierce and Dr. John D. O'Cull officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens Black Oak, KY.
Pallbearers for Allen E. Bryan will be Johnny Bevins, Jeff Himes, Richard Tillery, Jerry Ruggles, Tim Fite, Jon Fite, and Jon Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Mike Clark.
