Allen Flicker (Big Al) peacefully passed away on February 28, 2025. Husband of the late Rochelle (Shelly) Flicker (nee Pollack). Father of Fern Flicker and Heather Silver (husband Adam), Grandfather of Samson Tate Silver and Maxwell Abbott Silver. Partner to Herma Brockman. Allen loved being a father to his girls and has been fondly remembered by their friends as always being there. Never without a joke to lighten the mood or pull out a silly magic trick no one was expecting. Forever the child but always the parent. And more importantly, a die-hard Eagles fan leading to seeing their Super Bowl win this year. He had a wonderful relationship with his late brother, Gerry, priding himself on being the older of the two and always looking out for him. He loved music, passing that on to his family by providing a home filled with Doo-Wop and Golden Oldies. Lover of pugs long before they were in fashion and a confident driver well below the speed limit at all times. He was not in a rush. The length of his life proved that and his legacy will live on through his family. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Monday 11 AM precisely at Shalom Memorial Park (sec. Rebecca), Huntingdon Valley, PA. Contributions in his memory may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, www.michaeljfox.org.
