Allen Richard Lundt, age 96, entered into eternal life on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, WI. Allen was born on June 9, 1929 to Carl George and Hannah Marie (Anderson) Lundt on his home farm in Clintonville, WI (Township of Matteson). He was the last of eight siblings.

Allen attended Woodland School in the Township of Matteson through the eighth grade. As a teenager during the summer months, Allen started picking beans and catching frogs to sell to the frog buyer to start earning money. During World War II, he worked at the Canning Factory in Clintonville, canning corn, peas and green beans. Allen's first real job, as he stated, was in North Dakota working on a farm from spring to harvest, plowing fields and planting wheat, flax and corn. He also worked on a potato farm picking potatoes where he got paid by the crateful averaging about 50 cents an hour. Allen also worked on threshing machines and worked to widen the streets of Clintonville. Before he was drafted Allen worked as a logger on the Menominee Indian Reservation. After he was discharged from the Army Air Force Allen owned his own company driving gravel truck around Bear Creek and Clintonville. He worked for Operating Engineers from 1959 until 1992. After returning at the age of 63, Allen and his wife, Gloria, enjoyed organic truck farming from 1992 until 2014 and took their produce to multiple farmer's markets. They loved it!

Allen was drafted into the military and served from 1951-1953 in the Army Air Force in Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC. He was part of the 3rd Chemical Mortar Battalion. Everyone in his battalion was sent overseas during the Korean War except him. He credits his mother's prayers to that.

Allen came into the Apostolic Pentecostal faith in 1953 and has been a devoted Apostolic Pentecostal ever since. Rev. Fred Scott of Clintonville Tabernacle was his first pastor. After finding the truth, Allen brought his brother Oliver and his family into the church. Allen lived and breathed his newfound lifestyle and never wavered since. Allen attended Full Gospel Church in West Bend, WI for many years.

Allen met Gloria Elaine (Meyer) through her sister, Lorraine (John) Peterson. They were married on February 25, 1956, by Rev. Francis Ellis at Apostolic Christian Church on 70th Street in Milwaukee, WI. They resided on Florist Avenue in Milwaukee and then in 1959 built their home on Virginia Avenue where Allen resided until 2021.

Although Allen and Gloria never had any children of their own, they always longed for them! The couple tried adopting several times but were never successful. They absolutely loved children!

After his wife's passing, Allen moved closer to family in northern Wisconsin. Most recently he moved in with his great niece in Shiocton, WI. They enjoyed traveling together, attending polka fests and rodeos, riding Ferris wheels, touring museums and many other adventures. Allen also enjoyed riding along with his great niece while she drove for the Amish. Allen lived a very full life!

His hobbies included playing his guitar, swimming, horseback riding, fishing and hunting. In his later years he and Gloria enjoyed being snowbirds at J-Five RV Park in Mission, TX. More recently his hobbies included listening to old time music on his turntable, praying, reading his bible and talking about Jesus!

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Hannah Lundt, all seven siblings, Raymond (Lois) Lundt, Grace (Raymond) Phillips, Victor (Alice) Lundt, Signe (Fred) Knapp, Oliver (Dorothy) Lundt, Hazel Lundt and Clarence Lundt.

Allen is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and his special friend, Vivet Phillips.

A Celebration of Life service with military rites will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Full Gospel Church 2830 South River Road in West Bend, WI. Visitation will be at 3:00 pm until the time of service. Reverend James Booker will be officiating. A graveside service will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park 13235 West Capital Drive in Brookfield, WI on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 10:30 am.

The family would like to express our thanks to the wonderful help and care given by the doctors and nursing staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, WI.
