"Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love" - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
BEAUFORT, SC- The Management and Staff of THE SERENITY MORTUARY - HISTORIC BEAUFORT CHAPEL, alongside the Hannah Family announce the passing of Mr. Alvin L. Hannah, 59, of Beaufort, SC who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Hannah is a retired veteran of the United States Air Force, and is the beloved son of Reverend Johnny Hannah and Mrs. Elizabeth Hannah of Dale, SC and the father of Mr. Brandon A. Hannah, Allan Hannah, and Alycia Hannah
Mr. Hannah was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a man of deep passion and unwavering discipline. He loved fishing and had a lifelong admiration for martial arts, a passion sparked by watching the legendary Bruce Lee. He had a unique balance of humor and seriousness - always ready with a joke, yet deeply thoughtful and grounded. Mr. Hannah carried a strong sense of discipline and a constant thirst for knowledge. He believed in the power of growth and self-improvement, encouraging those around him to be their best selves. Above all, he loved God and lived by faith. He gave generously, not for recognition, but from the genuine kindness of his heart. Whether family, friend, or stranger, Mr. Hannah gave his time, wisdom, and love freely.
The family will honor and celebrate the life of Mr. Hannah in a private, intimate gathering. They kindly request your continued prayers for strength, and comfort as they remember his life and legacy.
***The final arrangements for Mr. Alvin L. Hannah are under the direction of THE SERENITY MORTUARY - HISTORIC BEAUFORT CHAPEL. We are honored to serve his family, and we ask that you please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.***
