Andrea Deanna Causey-Thomas was born June 7, 1967 in Heidelberg, Germany and entered into eternal rest July 9, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Andrea was a graduate of John McDonogh High School class of 1988. She also obtained her degree in Business Information from Southeastern College of Technology in 2002.
Andrea is preceded in death by her husband John Thomas Jr., father Master Sargent Willie Merl Causey and nephew Keenan Zeno. Andrea is survived by her mother Veronica Montrel, sister Benita Denise Causey, Phillip Baxter (father of Jessica, Ashley and Veronica) and 2 brothers. Andrea is the loving mother to three daughters Jessica A. Causey, Ashley M. Causey and Veronica V. Causey (the big one not the little one). The forever Maw-Maw to Lla'Veah Deanna Causey, Adria J.W. Causey, Laylah D Causey, Lylah D Causey and Prince Amir Causey. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, two best friends Mona George and April Bacchus and a host of relatives, friends and classmates.
