Andrew Demarais, age 30, of Elkton, SD, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Mundwiler Funeral Home Chapel in Milbank, SD. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Pastor Dave Tonn will officiate the service and inurnment will be at Milbank City Cemetery.

Andrew Joseph Demarais was born on March 9, 1995, in Fremont, NE, to Frederick and Paula (Willprecht) Demarais. His journey brought him to live in South Dakota where he settled in the town of Elkton.

Andrew dedicated his professional life to the field of product production at Bel Brands USA in Brookings, SD, where he was known for his work ethic and commitment.

Outside of work, Andrew was a man of diverse interests, enjoying the intricacies of working on cars, collecting memorabilia, and immersing himself in the realms of gaming and mixed martial arts. He found joy in the simplicity of life’s pleasures, often spending weekends fishing or enjoying the company of his friends.

Left to cherish Andrew’s memory are his father, Frederick Demarais; his mother, Paula Demarais; sister, Heather (Juan) Nevarez; brother, Trevor Demarais; nephews: Gabriel Nevarez and Koal Demarais; niece, Isabella Nevarez; paternal grandfather, Lee (Joan) Demarais; paternal grandmother, Wanda Reamer; maternal grandmother, Eileen Willprecht; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Marlen Willprecht; paternal step-grandfather, Don Reamer; and cousins: Timothy Briggs, Dustin Willprecht, and Sheila Willprecht.
