In Loving Memory of Aneta Diane Myers December 6, 1947 – July 9, 2025
With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Aneta Diane Myers, age 77, on July 9, 2025. Born on December 6, 1947, Aneta was a beacon of warmth, strength, and boundless love to all who knew her. She was a woman whose love was unlike any other. She loved deeply, selflessly, and unconditionally. Her heart was truly made of gold, and she loved her family and friends beyond measure.
She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and family devotion that will forever live on in the hearts of those who survive her: her devoted daughters Dorraine Cassing and Tammy Proffitt; her beloved siblings Albert (Tyler) Farkas, Elizabeth (Liz) Farkas, and Annette Farkas Sanders; along with a large and loving extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who each held a special place in her heart. Also surviving is her faithful four-legged companion, her dog Precious, who brought her joy and comfort in her later years.
Aneta was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Anthony Farkas and Dorraine Glass; her dear brothers Baby Paul Glass & David and Anthony Farkas Jr.; her beloved twin sister, Anita Yates; and her precious daughter Julie Cassing; and her much loved dog Jitters-each of whom she now joins in eternal peace.
Aneta was known for her loving and gentle spirit, her selfless heart, and a kindness that radiated through every room she entered. Her deep faith carried her through life's trials, and her lively sense of humor and feisty spirit uplifted those around her. She lived with a fierce and unshakeable love for her family-a love beyond measure.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Victoria's Assisted Living for their compassionate and dedicated care of Aneta throughout the years.
Though she may be gone from our sight, her love and legacy will echo through generations. She was truly one of a kind-and she will be deeply missed.
