Angela Robe Obituary

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Angela Marie Turning Robe on July 15, 2025. Angela was born on April 17, 1973, in Tacoma, Washington to her parents Loretta and Thomas., Angela was the embodiment of generosity, always extending a hand out to those in need. She was a humble, loving, and very loyal woman. She possessed the rare quality of making everyone she met feel welcome and loved. Angela was a cherished wife, mother, daughter, niece, and friend who left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her warmth, kindness, and unconditional love will forever be remembered.
Angela was an accomplished Twulshootseed Language Teacher for her Tribal community for twenty years. Her dedication toward preserving and promoting our indigenous language was a testament to her deep-seated love for her heritage and community. Angela's family was her world, her love and loyalty for them were unparalleled. She is survived by her husband, Delbert Turning Robe Jr., Her mother Loretta Castillo, Her Father Thomas McLaughlin, Her daughters, Tyler Daniel-Williams, Erica Turning Robe, Ryan Turning Robe Flores, and her son Delbert Turning Robe III, Her Grandchildren Isabella Turning Robe-Menocal, Makinley Lee Jr., Michael Flores III, Loretta Williams, Valeriano Flores, Loreign Williams & Adrienne Flores. her Sisters Kelli McLaughlin, Julie Jones, Stephanie Satiacum, Maria McLaughlin and her brother Timothy McLaughlin.
