Angelina Geesaman Obituary

Angelina Geesaman, a shining light of joy and kindness, was born on November 25, 2008, in Portland, Indiana. She brought warmth and optimism into the lives of everyone she encountered, a precious soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Angelina's time with us was tragically cut short when she passed away on July 5, 2025, due to a car accident, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends.

Angelina was a vibrant young girl who attended Jay County Christian Academy. Her infectious spirit and eagerness to support others fostered cherished friendships and connections throughout her community. She was known for her unwavering positivity and her ability to make others smile, a true embodiment of kindness that will be sorely missed.

In her role at McDonald's in Portland, Angelina showcased her dedicated work ethic as well as her natural ability to relate with customers and colleagues alike.

She leaves behind her loving parents, Shane Geesaman and Sandra (Barrientos) Geesaman of Portland, Indiana,, who will forever treasure the moments shared with their beloved daughter. Angelina is also survived by her two brothers, Kenney Geesaman of Portland, Indiana, and Jonathon Geesaman of Salamonia, Indiana. They will hold on tightly to the memories of their carefree childhood and the laughter that filled their home with Angelina by their side.

Angelina was blessed to grow up surrounded by caring family, including her devoted grandparents Larry and Judy Geesaman of Dunkirk, Indiana and Maria Barrientos of Portland, Indiana. The legacy of love she has created will live on in the hearts of many, extending to several cousins, aunts, and uncles who cherished her deeply. Angelina is now reunited with her late grandfather, Ramon Barrientos, and she will be remembered fondly by all whose lives she touched. She loved dearly her boyfriend, Isaac Springer.

Visitation for Angelina will be held on July 10, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Her Funeral Service will take place the following day, July 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Fellowship Baptist Church in Portland. Pastors Hugh Kelly, Earl Doll and Larry Barry will officiate. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, west of Portland.

Though her life was brief, Angelina Geesaman lived it with a heart full of love, instilling hope, kindness, and joy wherever she went. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
