Angelita Hernandez Garcia "Angie"
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angelita Hernandez Garcia. Angie was a wife, mother, and grandmother, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the Colusa Medical Center, at the age of 83.
Angie was born on August 4, 1941, to Estefana and Augustine Hernandez in the state of Texas.
Angie enjoyed gardening, visiting and reminiscing with her sisters and brothers, her favorite holiday was Christmas where family gathered around her, she also enjoyed going to the casinos. Angie loved her dog "Chuey," who sadly has since passed away.
Angie is preceded in death by her husband, Hector Garcia and survived by her children and their families. Yolanda and Curt Knighten, their children, Michael and Matthew Knighten, Doris and Victor Gomez, and their children, Cynthia Jimenez, and Sophia Gomez, Jesse and Julissa Garcia and their children, Jesse, Andrea, and Emily Garcia, Hector Garcia Jr., and his daughter Kaylee Garcia, John Garcia and his children, Jonathan and Sidney Garcia.
Angie is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Martin Jimenez, Jr., Isabella Jimenez, Jesus P. Jimenez, and Julian Knighten.
A mass service for Angie will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10:00 am, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 15437 W Kearney Blvd., Kerman, CA 93630 and graveside to follow at the Golden Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 310 S. Golden Avenue, Kerman, CA 93630
