Aniyah Jane Burton, 2, died on August 31, 2025. Born on February 6, 2023, Aniyah touched the lives of those around her in her brief time with us. A vibrant spirit, she brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her love of Barney and her playing on her tablet were just a glimpse into her enthusiastic personality, filled with attitude and charm.

Aniyah will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends, who will forever cherish the joyful moments spent with her. She was a light in their lives, and her memory will continue to bring smiles to their hearts.

Aniyah is predeceased by her great-grandfathers, Keith Burton and Kenneth Shelton.

Aniyah is survived by her parents, Tabitha Shelton and Justin Burton, a sister Layla Stevie Lyrica Burton, grandparents, Sherry Burton Mattingly, Kenneth Shelton, Jr., Kimberly Shelton, and Joey "Pop-pop" Rigdon, great-grandparents, Peggy Burton, Patsy Shelton, Steven and Jannie Spencer, uncles, Sean Burton and Timothy Shelton, aunt, Kelsey Shelton, cousins, Earl and Brentley Shelton, Sharle McAnley, and Kinley Barker, great-aunts and uncles, Nini, Papi, and Jojo, and numerous extended family.

Funeral services for Aniyah will be held on September 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Run Baptist Church. Bro. Ken Crigger will officiate. Pallbearers will be Timothy Shelton, Joe Goode, Hunter Monroe, and Billy Rigdon. Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City on September 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Though her time was brief, the love she shared will resonate in our hearts forever.
