Our dear, loving mother, Anna Fitzsimons, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 13th, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV, at her residence, The Victoria Center. Anna was born in Colorado Springs on August 28th, 1929, and lived one month short of 96 years of age.
Her birth parents were mother Hortensia Luque, whom she loved dearly, and father Charles Coria, who died early in Anna's life.
Hortensia remarried Alfred Garcia, who loved, raised and cared for Anna in their hometown of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Anna is survived by her four sons, Richard, Donald, Thomas, and Robert, her brother Richard, ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, with one more to arrive soon. Anna retired as a well-respected floor manager for JCPenney; In her personal life, she never retired from being a loving wife, caring mother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. We love her and will forever miss her easy laughter, uplifting conversations, encouragement, wisdom, and guidance.
A true Christian, Anna always ended phone conversations with a blessing. Anna never wavered in her faith in God's plan for her afterlife.
In heaven, she can finally reunite with her husband Richard, whom she loved.
God bless you Anna, and safe travels.
