Anna Marie Novak - age 93 of Hamilton, MO passed away Saturday evening, September 20, 2025 in North Kansas City, MO. Anna was born on May 30, 1932, the daughter of Julian and Germaine (Ampe) Decavele in Kansas City, MO. She grew up in Kansas City and graduated from St. Francis Seraph Catholic Schools. Anna married Raymond Novak on May 5th 1955, in Kansas City, MO. They made their home in the Sugar Creek area, before settling in Hamilton, MO in their later life. She attended church at St. Francis and St. Cyrils Catholic Churches. Anna was also involved with the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, taking an active role in her children and grandchildren's lives. Anna enjoyed working on her flowers and going to lunch with Raymond everyday and visiting with the other customers. She was very kind and giving, always thinking of other people over herself. Anna would do things for others before taking care of herself especially for her kids and grandkids, even with her straight shooter personality. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Ann Swercinski. She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Novak of the V.A. Home in Cameron, MO; her three sons, Kevin Novak (Laura) of Gallatin, MO, Donald Novak (Anitta) of Hamilton, MO, and Ronald Novak (Tomi) of Kansas City, MO; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Other extended family members and friends also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Welch Cemetery in Dawn, MO in care of the funeral home. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home in Polo (660) 354-2214. Online guestbook at www.stithfamilyfunerals.com
