Went home to God on July 17, 2025. Tony always said, "It's a great day to be alive," and believed he was blessed by God every single day. He lived many lives during his time here, full of stories, grit, laughter, and heart. It brings peace to his family and loved ones to know he is no longer suffering and is reunited in Heaven with his beloved son, Michael, along with many cherished family and friends.
He leaves behind his daughter, Mikaylyn Rose Abt, his son, Gino Anthony Abt, his loving and devoted partner, Dawn Teague, and his former wife and mother of his children, Charlotte Abt.
Tony was a man whose heart was bigger than the ocean. He shared his love freely and fiercely with everyone he knew. He will be missed and remembered most in the warmth of the sun, the rainbows after storms, and the unmistakable smell of steamed crabs.
A life celebration will be held privately.
