Anthony J. Gobert departed on Monday March 12, 2025, in Lafayette. He was born October 10, 1960, in Lafayette, La to the late Verdine Gobert and Sydney Leday. He was one out of five children.
He attended Lafayette High, Anthony was a master with his hands doing roofing, construction with Tas Roofing, cooking and small engine repairs. He was blessed to meet his wife Gertrude Gobert of 34 years, Anthony Gobert has 3 children Corey Francis Sr. (Melanie) of Lafayette, Anthony Mouton of Lafayette, Kamira Celestine of Carencro, survived by two brothers Gregory Gobert, Linton Gobert, and one sister. Survived by on brother-in-law Jessie Landry Sr. (Stephanie) eight grandchildren and three aunts Theresa Alexander, Theresa Landor and Genevieve Gobert and a host of nieces and nephews. Anthony was a hard worker and he provided for his family until the time of his departure. Anthony was very outspoken you never had to guess what he was thinking. Anthony was a die-hard Saints fan.
