Anton R. “Tony” Hlavaty passed on September 7, 2024 at his home. He was born September 14, 1935, to Martin and Annie Pivonka Hlavaty. He married the love of his life, Nelda Goggans on June 1, 1957, celebrating 67 happy years.
He is survived by his wife, Nelda; Son, J. Patrick (Cathy Thompson) Hlavaty; Daughter, Gerri Green; Grandsons, Lance (Denise) Green & Sage (Lauren) Hlavaty; Great granddaughters, Taylor Green & Summer Hlavaty. He is also survived by his sisters, Lucy (Tom) Hodges & Del Shrum; Brothers, Andrew (Jean) Hlavaty , Martin (Leigh) Hlavaty, & Danny Hlavaty; Many nieces, nephews, & their families; Extended family, Bo (Cindy) Land & their families. He was preceded in death by parents, Martin & Annie, as well as brother, Joseph & sister, Dorothy.
Memorials can be given to Hospice Care Team, 11441 32nd Avenue N #b, Texas City, TX 77591 in Tony’s name.
