Archie Foster Obituary

Archie Leonard Foster, 89, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Thursday, May 8, 2025, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 3 PM, Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Dusty Stoey officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 3 PM, Monday afternoon, at the Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Foster was born February 1, 1936, in Irwinville, Georgia, to the late Chester Eugene & Rebecca Corine Walker Foster. Mr. Foster served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a pecan grower and he enjoyed hunting, feeding and watching deer in his orchards. He was a member of Crossview Baptist Church.
He is survived by two children: Sharon Myers & Greg of Sycamore and Todd Foster; two grandchildren: Ethan Myers & Chelsey and Colt Myers & Mary Catherine; four great-grandchildren: Asher Harpe, Wyatt James Myers, Callie Mae Myers and Walker James Myers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Rae Foster; three brothers: Douglas Foster, Glendyon Foster and Herman Eugene Foster and two sisters: Marcella Singletary and Reba Day.
