SEBASTOPOL: Graveside services for Audean Sistrunk Devers will be held 2:30 pm, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery with burial in the church cemetery.
Bro. George Ellis will officiate.
Visitation will be held at 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, prior to service at Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol.
Audean Sistrunk Devers, age 88, of Sebastopol, passed away on June 9, 2025 at her home.
Audean loved her flowers, spending time fishing and camping with her grandsons, and playing pranks on her beloved sisters. She also enjoyed attending Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors:
2 Daughters: Anita Faye Hamil Beebe of Forest and Kimberly Dean Devers of Sebastopol
1 Brother: Billy Joe Sistrunk
2 Sisters: Geneva Bailey (Jimmy) of Forest and Betty Jean Box of Adamsville
5 Grandchildren: Blake Andrew Dooley, Stephen Anthony Pierre, Joseph Aaron Pierre, Kayla Michelle Devers Gonzalez and Jon Tyler Devers.
7 Great Grandchildren: Colby Andrew Dooley, Serenity Ray-Lynn Dooley, Ashten Faith Pierre, Jayla Maria Gonzalez, Lauren Nicole Gonzalez, Mark Brantley Gonzalez, and John Austin Gonzalez
She was also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Ms. Devers is preceded in death by her husband; Johnny Lawrence Devers, son; Mark Raymond Devers, parents; Jodie D. Sistrunk, and Pattie B. Sistrunk, brothers; Pete Sistrunk, W.D. Sistrunk (Cootie) and Jimmy Wayne Sistrunk, sisters; Margaret Lorene Price and Pattie Carol Beebe
Pallbearers: Woody Herrington, Danny Peoples, Alton Gibbs, Bailey Robinson, Steve Anthony Pierre, Joseph Aaron Pierre, and Blake Andrew Dooley
