Audrey Annabelle Baker, 89, of Oakland, passed away on May 6, 2025, at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Born on May 28, 1935, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late George Milton and Edna Marie (Frantz) Edgar.
Audrey was a graduate of Northern High School. She was a beloved member of the Divine Hope Church. Audrey worked for Garrett Memorial Hospital for numerous years, where she provided excellent care to those around her. She loved tending her garden, solving puzzles, and making things by sewing, crocheting, and doing crafts. With a warm heart, Audrey easily made friends, sharing her kindness and creations, leaving a special mark on those around her.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jodie Holland and Kelly Baker, both of Oakland; five grandchildren, Garry Holland, Jr., Clyde Holland, Joseph T. Baker, Eric Baker, and Clarissa Baker; and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Baker, Sr.; her two sons, Joseph Baker and Donald Baker, Jr.; and five siblings, Daniel Edgar, Charles Edgar, Mabel Rowe, Dorothy Edgar, and Jim Edgar.
Friends will be received on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 4 to 7 PM at the Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes, P.A., - Oakland Chapel 21 N. Second St., Oakland. Per Audrey's wishes, cremation will follow.
