It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey Marie Stark, aged 79, who passed away peacefully at home on July 30, 2025, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Audrey was born on December 3, 1945, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, to her loving parents, Erich and Bertha Gretenhardt.
Audrey's spirit was reflected in her hobbies and interests. As a respected real estate agent, Audrey embraced her work with dedication and compassion, helping countless families find their dream homes. Prior to retirement, Audrey also enjoyed many years as orthodontic assistant.
As a master gardener, she found immense joy in planning and maintaining the gardens at a local golf course. Her love for life extended to antiques and specialty antique automobiles. She showcased her appreciation for history and craftsmanship, as she took pride in preserving the stories that each vehicle told. She and her husband Jim brightened many summers by participating in The Great Schlitz Circus Parade, driving various classic antiques.
Audrey is survived by her loving husband Jim Stark; sister Merry (Tom) Klemp; sister-in-law Linda Herman; nephews David (Pierette) Einum, Paul (Cherie) Einum, and Jason Herman; great nephews Linus Einum and Nicholas Einum; and great niece Julia Einum.
