Gene Williamson, 96, passed away at his home Tuesday May 20, 2025. Graveside funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday May 22, 2025 at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham.
Gene was born August 31, 1928 in Eastland, Texas to the late Atha (Owen) Williamson and Lee Galton Williamson. He married Nelda Ann Hacker, August 12, 1950 in Hermleigh. She preceded him in death on December 10, 2020. Gene was a former Shop Supervisor for Texas Electric Service Company and a member of HighRidge Church.
A man of quiet strength and unwavering devotion, Gene, dedicated his life to the well-being of those he loved. He was the cornerstone of his family a guiding light, a humble provider, and a steady hand through every storm. His selflessness knew no bounds; he gave without asking, served without seeking recognition, and loved unconditionally.
Survivors include; daughter, JoAnn Hawkins and husband Tony of Graham; sons, Mike Williamson and wife Debbie of Freer, Jerry Williamson and wife Joyce of Duncan, AZ.; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, son Larry Gene Williamson, daughter-in-law Danette Williamson, grandson Larry Gene Williamson, Jr., sister Doris Norton and brother LJ Williamson.
Visitation will be Thursday May 22, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at 821 Plum Street.
