It is with deepest sorrow, that the Clem family announces the passing of Barbara Webb Clem, 73, of Laurens, on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

Barbara was born on August 21, 1951, in Hartville, SC, to the late Eugene Webb and Gertrude Johnson Sweatt. She served her community as a paramedic with both the Greenwood and Laurens County EMS for over 16 years. Her passion for helping others was exemplified through her work, saving lives, delivering babies, and aiding anyone in their time of an emergency situation. Upon retirement, she continued to work as a truck driver. In her spare time, she enjoyed scrapbooking and researching and collecting any items that may be related to her Cherokee heritage. Above all, Barbara adored and loved her grandchildren with all of her heart.

Surviving, is a daughter, Chasity Stonell of Laurens; grandchildren, Christian Suber and Marisa Reynolds of Laurens; a sister, Linda Hembree of Shelby, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by brothers, Charles Webb, George Webb, James Webb, and Wesley Webb, and sisters, Eunice Dixon, Elizabeth Moore, and Jeannie Marino; and husbands Gary Eugene Reynolds and Joseph Chalmers Clem.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 28, 2025, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Chaplain Kevin Garrison.

Visitation will be held at the mortuary from 10:00 am – 11:00 am prior to the service.

Burial will follow the service at Pinelawn Memorial Gardens in Clinton.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Agape Hospice, and specifically Lecius Morton and Holly Quinn for their compassionate care during Barbara's final months.

The family will be at the home.
