Barbara Cox Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 9, 2025.
"Spirit to spirit and heart to heart, Siblings forever together and apart."
Barbara Jean Cox (Ganzer), 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, 7/5/25, at Wellstead/Diamondcrest of Rogers, MN.
Barb was born 8/5/1942 to Leona Rose (Watzke) & Harvey John Ganzer in St. Cloud, MN. Barbara was the oldest of 8 children Barbara, Harvey Jr.(deceased), Rosemary, Mary, Carol, Constance, Margaret and Michael. All siblings, remarkably, remain in Minnesota. Our Dad affectionately gave each of us a nickname.Barbara's being "Queenie".which has stuck ever since.
Barbara was married to Wilfred Mark Cox Jr (Bill ). Bill passed on 8/31/2020. Barbara & Bill met at Honeywell where they both enjoyed lengthy careers. They were married on 5/2/1981. Together they enjoyed wintering in Florida, Western Dancing, & Golf. Barb's absolute passion was scrapbooking Family Photos.often making us howl with laughter at her "modifications of reality"!
Per Barbara's wishes, there will be no formal service. Her sole desire was to have her ashes, along with Bill's ashes, "thrown to the wind".
There is comfort in the knowledge she is at peace in a better place.
