Barbara "Barb" Anne White Hanson Krumm, 84, of Ashkum passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She was born on December 16, 1940 in Clifton, a daughter of Henry and Leah (Noel) White. Barb married Harold Hanson on June 28, 1958 and he passed away on March 8, 1990. She married Ron Krumm on January 15, 2002 in Watseka and he passed away on September 16, 2022.
Barb is survived by her three children, Regina Lowery of Bourbonnais, Carla Massey of Ashkum, and Wayne (Sue) Hanson of Gilman. She was "Meme" to her grandchildren, Matthew Lowery, Kristen Davis, Jessica Massey Gray, Heather (Butch) Meents, Jared (Kenna) Massey, Crystal Niswander, and Grant Hanson; great-grandchildren, Makayla Davis, Bentley Smith, Jacob Lowery, Payton Gray, Avry Gray, Kaedyn Meents, Jacob Meents, Ashlynn Massey, Aly Massey, Brody Massey, Adrianna Chase, Aaron Garecht, and Falyn Niswander; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Vincent) Krumm of Maryland/Jamaica, Susan Hanson of Ashkum, and Sylvia Hanson of Gibson City.
She was also preceded in death by both of her parents; three sisters, Alice Hansen Frahm, Hazel Theesfeld, and Eleanor Leaver; two brothers, Robert and Richard White; one daughter, Angela.
Barbara was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clifton. She worked for many years for the United States Postal Service in Clifton as well as for the Clifton Hospital. Barbara enjoyed reading and mowing. She especially loved vacationing in Florida and her time spent with family.
Private services and burial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton.
