It's with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Tracy Hodge, who died peacefully at home on June 15, 2025, at the age of 65 in Ironton, MO. Tracy was born in Abington, Pennsylvania, on May 29, 1960, to Lyle Alfred Hodge and Barbara Marie Clark. Tracy attended school at Council Rock in Bucks County. Tracy was a source of wisdom, a fierce protector, and always the life of the party. Her favorite job, which she held in all her years, was working at Potosi Walmart. Tracy raised three beautiful and incredibly strong daughters: Barbara Jacqueline Aussiker, Grace Joceline Aussiker, and Victoria Lynn Ralls. Her love for her children was unconditionally fierce.
Tracy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved connecting with family near and far, whether through heartfelt visits or staying in touch via Facebook. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life; she treasured every moment with them. Tracy was known for her personality - she was such a force, so bold, so beautiful, and very brave. She loved giving to others and letting others know how much they mattered. Tracy was honest; no matter the storm life brought to her, she kept faith and remained incredibly strong. She loved all animals. She truly was an animal whisperer. Her hobbies were beading, taking long walks to find treasures, as she'd say, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a great cook and a hard worker. Tracy faced a life of many tribulations, and she faced them all fearlessly, so brave with such a free spirit.
Tracy is survived by her children: Barbara Jacqueline Aussiker, Grace Joceline Aussiker, and Victoria Lynn Ralls. Tracy was known affectionately as 'Knowny' to her grandchildren: Joseph Dematteo, Destiny DeMatteo, Michael Wilson, Alyssa Freeman, Virginia Aussiker, Daniel Aussiker, Tyler Ralls, Michael Ralls, Faith Naugles, Kenneth Ralls, and Alorha Ralls. Her great-grandchildren, Joseph Dematteo Jr. and Ace Emily, also survive her. She also leaves behind her siblings: Patty Johnson, Cinde Herr, Victoria Wehling, Patti Heaton, William Turner, Glen Turner, Sharon Moeckel, and Joyce Cohen. Tracy was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Marie Clark, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William C. Grace of Newtown, and Mrs. William C. Turner of Levittown, PA.
