Barbara J Salzgeber, age 85 passed away peacefully on July 3 2025. Beloved wife of the late Robert J for 53 years. Loving mother of Scott (Gina) and Dyana (Jim). Sister of Joannie Fritz and the late Kay West and John Fritz Jr. Dear Grandmother of Patrice Pierson (John), Scott Danny Salzgeber (Anne), Robert Salzgeber (Kate) and Stephanie Scott (Rob). Great Grandmother of Colton, William, Weston and Andrew.
Barbara was a devoted Cleveland sports fan, and a lover of all things Elvis. Known for her vibrant spirit and warm heart, Barbara lived a life full of family, tradition and love. Her love for the holidays was apparent in her home with decorations and fresh flowers. Alongside her beloved husband, she was a graceful and joyful dancer, lighting up many dance floors throughout the years with her fiery red hair and fun-loving nature. Barbara worked for many years as a brokerage assistant at National City Bank, where her dedication and professionalism left a lasting impression.
Barbara's love for family, celebration, and the simple pleasures in life will be remembered by all who knew her. The family will be having a private gathering and light lunch at her home on Jul 19, 2025 from 1-4pm for immediate family.

We miss Barb in our Wednesday lunch get togethers. She was such a fun, friendly and caring person and loved sharing pictures of her family with us. She helped plan several of our Strongsville Class of 1958 reunions as well as hosted mini class reunions at her home for several years. My husband Roger and I definitely miss her. Our sympathy to all her family.
