Barbara Ann (Snelling) Walls, age 90, a resident of Westminster Health Care in Clarksville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Westminster Health Care.
Born on March 6, 1935, in Utica, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Lee Allen Snelling and Lydia Eunice (Owens) Snelling. Barbara was the eldest of seven children and was known for her loving and sweet nature throughout her life.
On December 19, 1970, she married Clyde E. "Jitterbug" Walls, at East United Methodist Church. They shared a devoted marriage until his passing on August 31, 2012.
Barbara worked for 30 years as a dedicated press operator at Seymour Manufacturing before retiring. She was a member of Memphis Blue Lick Christian Church and enjoyed playing Bingo in her free time.
She is survived by her brother, Danny (Kathy) Snelling of Henryville, IN; her sister, Marie Sexton, a resident of Westminster Assisted Living, a sister in law, Brenda Snelling of Scottsburg, IN and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clyde, one brother, Lanny Allen Snelling, and three sisters, Virginia Gardner, Margaret R. Brooks, and Joyce Crick.
A funeral service will be held at Noon on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville, Indiana, with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, Indiana. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until Noon on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
