Graveside service will be at 4:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025 at Forsythe Cemetery in Marshall, Illinois. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Barb was born on November 26, 1943 in Bellevue, Ohio to Charles Franklin "Frank" and Thelma Julia (Drazy) Baker.
She dedicated over 36 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse, working at both local nursing homes and Paris Community Hospital. Barb found joy in caring for her flowers, working in the yard, and gardening. She also had a passion for learning about her family history and studying genealogy.
Barb is survived by her children: Mary Kessler (Hershel), Linda Howard, Angela Wooters (Jake Medley); her grandchildren: Carrie Kessler, Kyle Kessler, Brian Hunt, Justin Moore, Brady Sutton, Reese Sutton; and her 7 great grandchildren.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Charles Franklin "Bud" Baker Jr. and Robert "Bob" Baker.
