Benjamin Bradfield Byrd IV, lovingly known as "Brad," passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on May 27, 2025, at the age of 56. Born with a vibrant spirit and a generous heart, Brad lived a life marked by compassion, humor, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He carried himself with humility and quiet strength, always offering a helping hand or a kind word to those in need. Brad was known for his love of the Lord, his family, and his daughter. Many enjoyed his sense of humor, love of films and novels, the outdoors, and sense of adventure.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia D. Byrd. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the cherished moments shared with him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations made in Brad's name go to a church that speaks to you, as this reflects his values and love for God. Brad will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
