Funeral service for Bernie Victoria Rackler, 83, of Fletcher, Oklahoma, will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2025, at Fletcher Christian Church, with Jim Hall officiating. Burial is prior to the funeral at 9:00 a.m. at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, under the direction of Fletcher Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rackler passed away on Thursday June 26, 2025, in Lawton, at the age of 83.
Bernie Victoria Rackler was born May 30, 1942, in Shafter, California to George and Essie McCullar. Bernie married Jessie Odell Rackler on June 2, 1958. The two were married for 58 years and were blessed with 3 sons. After the couple married, they moved to New Mexico and Jessie began farming with his brother.
Jessie and Vickey moved to Oklahoma in 1974, and Vickey attended school earning her RN certification and pursued Nursing in Lawton, Oklahoma. After retiring, Vickey enjoyed traveling with her husband, reading books, and attending church at Fletcher Christian Church until her health no longer allowed.
Vickey is survived by 3 sons: Kenneth Rackler of Fletcher, Michael Rackler and his wife Beverly of Comanche, and Wendell Rackler and his wife Cindi of Fletcher; 6 brothers; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her very best friend Donelda Lindsey. A special Thank You to the staff at McMahon Tomlinson Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Essie McCullar; 2 brothers: Tommy and Kenneth; 1 sister: Shirley; and 1 grandson: Robby Sheffield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Fletcher Christian Church.
