Obituary of Bertha Louis McBride
Bertha "Betty" Louise McBride. Her maiden name was Workmen. She passed away January 19th, 2025 at home with her family by her side at 11:20 pm.
She was born on May 14th, 1936 in the city of Caspar, WY. She was the loving daughter of Esther Baker. She grew up with her grand parents in Santa Ana, CA. She became their loving daughter as well.
Mom attended Oxidental College in Eagle Rock, CA and Pasadena Community College in Pasadena, CA.
Her career was mainly in the food industry.
She was preceded by: Mother Esther Baker, Aunt Gladys Baker, her brother Roger and her grand parents who loved her and raised her as their own in Santa Ana, CA, her daughter Tammy, grand baby Bobby, great grand baby Kingston and Ex husband Dave, etc.
She survived by her son David, her daughter Debbie, her grand children, great grand children and great great grand children.
She enjoyed, reading, walking, painting, drawing, singing. She loved animals and even after retirement worked at a zoo for a short time. She loved her horse pinky and enjoyed horseback. She won many ribbons in her childhood. She enjoyed ballet as well in her youth. She loved telling stories.
She was an amazing woman, person, mother, grand mother and great grand mother and great great grandmother. Her heart was filled with so much love her family and friends. She was my best friend. We will miss her and she will always be beloved.
