Bettie was born April 17, 1937 in Sandusky, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl and Sally Gregory.
Bettie met her husband Fred while attending school at Dayton Art Institute. She was a freelance watercolor artist and horticulturist, specializing in her favorite flower, the iris.
Bettie enjoyed cooking and baking bread with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her two children Lisa Crank of O'Fallon Illinois and Greg Lange of Washington state; grandchildren: Joshua (Lauren) Crank, Hannah Crank (Gabe Lozano) and Emma (Cory) Manne; three great grandchildren: Lennon, Stevie and Oliver.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, and a brother.
The family will celebrate her life in a private ceremony.
