Javis Hoyt Obituary

Javis went to her heavenly home on Thursday, June 9, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 82. She worked as a Tax Clerk for the Livingston Parish Sheriffs Office for many years. Javis could often be found traveling the country, riding motorcycles, and sitting on her porch watching the wildlife with her dog Hobo. Her greatest love in life was her family and spending time with them making lasting memories that they will treasure forever. Javis had a huge heart, who loved the Lord and helping people in need. To know her was to love her and she is already missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Temple and husband Jay; brother, Jerry Hoyt and wife Sara; sister-in-law Dorothy Hoyt grandchildren, Ramsey, Jay and Tareh; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Earl Jones; parents, Hamp and Lorine Hoyt; great-granddaughter Ryver Gann; brother, J. L. Hoyt, J.D. Hoyt and his wife, Abbyteen; sister, Juanita Blount and her husband Pearson Blount.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hoyt, Tim Hoyt, Glen Hoyt, Daryl Hoover, Lil' Jay and Gabe; honorary pallbearer J.J..

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Hutchinson Cemetery on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Les Fogleman to officiate the services.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.
