Lucille Evelyn Heyworth, age 80

Born November 9, 1944

Beloved wife to Robert G. Heyworth of 57 years, passed away peacefully at William W. Backus Hospital June 16, 2025 with family by her side.

Luci (or auntie LuLu) as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. She was a very giving and loving soul. Luci was an avid cookbook collector and loved to cook and bake. Luci had many hobbies, reading, crocheting, and collecting antiques for her home. A passion of hers was trying and collecting gadgets from QVC. When she found useful gadgets she liked, she would always buy more to share with all her loved ones. Luci was also a very big animal lover and she leaves behind her beloved fur babies….Bentley, Cricket, Jasmine, and Baxter. Though Luci's physical presence will no longer grace our lives, her loving spirit with live on in those who loved her.

Luci was predeceased by her beautiful baby boy, Robert Vincent Heyworth. Besides her husband Robert, Luci is survived by a nephew, Michael Alorro Gurlin, niece, Lisa Gurlin Shaw, both reside in California. An adopted daughter, Laurie Velidow (Kenneth) of Salem, CT and granddaughter Emily Velidow (Anthony) of Mansfield, CT.

At the family's request, the services will be private.
