Betty Gardenia Josing, a beloved figure, passed away on July 2, 2025, in Bowie, Maryland. She was born on July 10, 1943, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, to Antonio J. Josing and Luz C. Macias. She was the sixth of ten children.
As a young girl, she loved playing basketball, listening to music, and dancing. Later on, she discovered a new passion for Turkish soap operas and enjoyed the challenge of solving crosswords.
Betty was always there to help everyone in need.
Betty is survived by her sister, Violeta Cabrera; her brother, Antonio Josing; her sister, Teresa Alarcon; and her sister, Fatima Soto.
And all of her nephews, nieces, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Betty Gardenia Josing, una figura muy querida, falleció el 2 de julio de 2025 en Bowie, Maryland. Nació el 10 de julio de 1943 en Guayaquil, Ecuador, hija de Antonio J. Josing y Luz C. Macías. Fue la sexta de diez hijos. De niña, le encantaba jugar al baloncesto, escuchar música y bailar. Más tarde, descubrió una nueva pasión por las telenovelas turcas y disfrutaba del reto de resolver crucigramas. Betty siempre estaba dispuesta a ayudar a quienes lo necesitaban.
