Beverly Ann Gibbs Blocker, age 54, of Hertford, NC, left this world on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at her residence. Born on February 26, 1971, to the late Milton "Gibby" Gibbs and Connie Jones Gibbs, Beverly was the wife of Ryan Dwayne Blocker for 33 years. She graduated from Northeastern High School and worked for many years at Piedmont Natural Gas.
Besides her loving and devoted husband, Dwayne, Beverly leaves behind her three beautiful boys, Gage Ryan Blocker (Jamie), Grant Ryan Blocker, and Gavin Ryan Blocker. She was a wonderful and loving mother, and her boys were her very reason for being. She had four amazing grandchildren, Owen, Otto, Olive, and Oaklynn, with another blessing on the way; two sisters, Suzy Gibbs and Pam Keaton (Don Lee), who will miss her crazy anecdotes and her enormous smile that lit up a room; her mother-in-law, Elaine Blocker; sister-in-law, Cris Carlisle Gibbs; brother-in-law, Ron Blocker; nieces, Brittany Ballance, Sabrina Blocker, Jordan Keaton, Anna Helgeson, and Shyanne Carlisle; nephews, Cody Mansfield and Matthew Mcleod; and seven grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She also loved her furry four-legged friends, and her precious dog, Callie, will be lost without her. She was preceded in death by her father, Gibby, her mother, Connie, and her brother, Steven Gibbs.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the residence, 132 Skippers Court, Hertford, NC 27944.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA of Northeastern NC, 102 Enterprise Drive, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
