Sue Ferrell Clark Howington, 71, of Rock Hill, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025. Born Sunday, March 15, 1953, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Albert R. Ferrell and Dee Alva Carnes Ferrell. Sue enjoyed spending time at the beach, fishing, golfing, playing cards - and dominos - camping, and spending time with her family and friends. If she wasn't doing any of these, you would know to find her cutting the grass, just tending to her yard or enjoying her favorite dish of chocolate ice-cream!
Sue is survived by her loving husband, James "Jamey" Anderson Howington, Jr.; sons: Richard "Scott" Clark (Courtney), and Thomas Wayne "Tommy" Clark (Kayla Jackson); sister, Ann Skar (Gil); grandchildren: Emma Clark, Maddy Clark and Gavin Clark; mother, Judy Ferrell; and many more family, friends and neighbors.
A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Bass Cauthen Funeral Home Friday, January 17, with pastor Greg Zolninger officiating. Interment will be held at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
