Beverly "Bev" Bliler Page, of Shelbyville, IL passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025. She was 94 years old.
Bev was born on March 30, 1931 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Frank and Alberta Bliler. She married Kenneth Page on June 2, 1990. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2019. Bev worked as a waitress in Decatur and retired from Cash Valve.
Bev spent her life working hard and caring deeply for those around her. When her family needed her most, she stepped in without hesitation and raised her grandchildren, giving them a home built on love, stability, and quiet strength. Rooted in deep Christian faith,
she lived with humility and devotion, always putting others before herself.
Some of the fondest memories of Bev come from her time on the family farm-canning the summer harvest, cooking simple, comforting meals, and letting her grandchildren climb all over the tractors and equipment just to see them smile. She had a special talent for stretching every dollar, a kind of everyday wisdom that made her a quiet hero to those who knew her best.
Bev is survived by her children: Gale Jewsbury of Decatur, IL, Matt Sefried (Sara) of Moweaqua, IL and Aundrea Werpy (Todd) of Mt. Zion, IL; grandchildren: Amanda Elliott (Robert), Lauren Sefried, Ella Dillefeld, Brooklyn Dillefeld, Cameron Dillefeld (Terri), Chase White and Raegan White; special niece: Roberta Gorden.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Page, daughter Rebecca and son Dean.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home, Blue Mound. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Meridian Community Church of God in Bev's memory.
Her legacy of faith, resourcefulness, and unconditional love will live on in the lives of all she touched.

Dear Gale - so sad to see the notice about your mother´s passing. She had a smile that could light up a room. It´s always hard to lose your mother. I hope you will recall all the good memories you have and are sunny friends and family.

Best to you,
