Billy Doyle “Bill” Fennell, 67, of Decatur passed from this earth Tuesday, July 1st.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 9th at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise with burial at Sweetwater Cemetery in Decatur. Family will receive friends 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Rocky Johnson will officiate. Pallbearers include Kyle Badger, Gary Caraway, Rowdy Lisby, Rex Dickenson, Carl Fennell, and Mark Montgomery. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Wise County Soil & Water Conservation District, Cody Gillispie, Harold Remmele, Gary Green, Paul Wood and Darnell Willis.
Bill was born October 6th, 1957 to David Drew and Eva Sue (Bryan) Fennell in Bridgeport, Texas. He was united in marriage June 30th, 1977 to Dona Michele Montgomery in Decatur, Texas. Bill was a farmer, ranching in the agriculture industry his whole life. He was a beloved son, husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Fennell, and a brother, Jim Fennell.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Michele Fennell of Decatur; his daughters, Lana Coffman and husband Drew of Decatur, and Lyndi Stupka and husband Nick of Decatur; his grandchildren, Avery, Grady, Laken, Maddyx, and Gentry; his mother, Sue Fennell of Decatur; his sister, Deb Jones and husband Norman of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
