Billie Marie (Smart) Fletcher, of Bellefonte, Arkansas, passed into the presence of the Lord on July 11, 2025 at the age of 83. Billie was born December 10, 1941 in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas to Dee Willis Smart and Roberta (Massey) Smart.
Billie was a loving, caring, and hardworking wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed embroidery, cooking, and canning, shopping, and treasured time spent visiting and playing games with family. She was retired from Emerson Electric in Harrison.
Billie is survived by George, her loving husband of 60 years; her children, Deborah (Jim) Witty, of Yardelle and James Fletcher, of Greenbrier; four grandchildren, Dustin (Alyssa) Witty, Keith (Kassey) Witty, Treslyn (Matt) Dye, and Tate Fletcher; and four great grandchildren. Billie was preceded in death by her parents; her three siblings, Jimmie, Maxine, and Marvin; and her daughter-in-law, Trissa.
An open visitation will be at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Graveside service and burial will be Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Bellefonte Cemetery with Brother Daryl Pitts officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Witty, Dustin Witty, Keith Witty, Tate Fletcher, and Matthew Dye.
In lieu of flowers, Billie's wishes were for memorial donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
