Billie Rogers Obituary
Billie passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 in Lawton, OK.
Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home at 632 SW C Ave, Lawton, OK.
Billie was born on August 22, 1966 in Lawton, OK to Noah Calvin and Murlean (Cooper) Haney. She grew up and attended school in Rush Springs and Lawton High School, graduating in 1984. Billie married Steven Gilley and to this union two children were added. In 1992, Billie went to the Duncan Great Plains Vo-Tech and studied to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She later married Bill Rogers and was blessed with one more child. Mrs. Rogers worked as an LPN for many locations including Comanche County Memorial Hospital, Hospice of Southwest Oklahoma, Carter Home Health, and Aspire Home Health, and Grifols Plasma Center. Billie loved to read, do crossword puzzles, and watch television, especially the news and Supernatural. She also enjoyed steak dinners, Pepsi Cola, traveling with family, spending time with her grandchildren, and lady bugs.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Amber and Kyle Murphy; her sons, Gregory Gilley and Josh Gilley; her sisters including twin sister, Bobbie Fite, Kim Hatfield, and husband, James, and Kelly Wahahrockah, and husband, Glenn; her grandchildren, Kamron Gilley, Sonnet Hoskins, Gunnar Hoskins, Rip-Wilder Gilley, Ethan Gilley, Noah Gilley, Conner Gilley, Eric Gilley, and Alexis Gilley; her special friend, Bill Rogers; her brothers in law, Leslie Upton and Grover Sewell; her sisters in law, Danita Haney and Lynda Haney, and many other loving family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Steven Gilley; her siblings Robert "Dennis" Haney, Linda Gaye Haney, Darlene Upton, Allie Tallant, Joyce Sewell, Roy Haney, Jake Haney, Raymond Haney, "Uncle Brother" Liniel Haney, and Kenneth Haney; and her brother in law, Tommy Fite.
