Billy "Craig" Denison, age 66, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, at Springdale Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on August 3, 1959, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Billy Frank Denison and Shirley Ann (Dickey) Blankenship.
Craig grew up in England, Arkansas, where he graduated from high school. He went on to hold an enjoyable career as a supervisor at Riceland Foods in Stuttgart, Arkansas. In his younger years, Craig enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and he especially liked to run around town and hang out with his best friend, Randal Wyly. He could often be found cruising around town, or relaxing with a good book. He especially cherished family gatherings-Easter Sundays were his favorite, when everyone came together for a family fish fry.
Craig will be remembered as a kind, cheerful, and good-hearted man who was always ready to lend a hand. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle, who will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his sister, Tracy Wright and her husband, John; and his niece, Taylor Nicole Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Denison and Shirley Blankenship; his step-father Benny Blankenship; his grandmother, Georgia Dickey; and his aunt, Minnie Belle Baker.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe, Oklahoma, with Brother Sid Ree officiating. Services are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
