Billy Jacobs Obituary

William "Billy" John Jacobs, age 60, of Crystal Lake, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2025, in the comfort of his home. Born during a time of love and change on July 21, 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio, Billy was the youngest of seven children born to Paul Michael Jacobs and Edna Julia (Heringes) Jacobs.
From an early age, Billy carried with him a free spirit, a big heart, and a quiet strength. As a long-haul truck driver, he found his peace and purpose on the open road-chasing horizons, collecting stories, and finding beauty in the journey itself. The road was more than his career-it was where he felt most alive and most himself.
Billy was preceded in death by his beloved parents, his brother Dennis, and his sister Mary Louise. He is survived by his siblings: James, Johnny, Paul, and Patricia; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a wide circle of friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and humor.
Billy will be cremated and lovingly returned to his roots in Ohio. A committal service will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland, where he will be laid to rest beside his parents-reunited in peace and love.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. May his spirit continue to roll freely, like the wheels on the open road he loved so much.
