Billy Herman Long, 56, formerly of Vienna, passed away on July 21, 2025, at his home in Holts Summit, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on September 4, 1968, to Vernon and Ella (Seaton) Long, who preceded him in death. Billy spent most of his life on the family farm outside of Vienna. For the past 30 years, he lived with his devoted sister, Susan, and brother-in-law, Greg Hood.

Billy was a man with a big heart and simple joys. He loved watching and attending WWE wrestling events and had a lifelong fondness for Mickey Mouse and all things Disney. He especially enjoyed spending hours watching TV Land classics and listening to his favorite country music. Billy also liked visiting the gambling boat, going camping, and taking fun vacations with his family.

He was a member of the United Methodist/Rader Church in Vienna and, later in life, attended Shiloh Methodist Church in Holts Summit.

Billy is survived by his brother, Jim Long and wife Ann, of Springfield, MO; four sisters, Janet Dickneite and husband Ted of Freeburg, MO, Caroline Cooley and husband Lonnie of Taos, MO, Dorothy Webb of New Bloomfield, MO, and Susan Hood and husband Greg of Holts Summit, MO. He is also survived by six nieces, seven nephews, numerous great-nieces and nephews, and many dear friends who will miss him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Long; brother-in-law David Webb; nephew Matthew Gelven; and great-nephew Eric Webb.

Friends will be received on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Vienna Methodist Church in Vienna, MO. An additional visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a service to follow at Vienna Methodist Church with Pastor Jamie Falter and Pastor Lynn Facemyer officiating. Interment will follow at Vienna Cemetery.
