Billy Ray Medley, 72, of Fountain Run, KY passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of the City of Scottsville and a son of the late J. D. Medley and Sarah Elizabeth Meador Medley.

He is survived by a sister-in-law and caregiver: Elizabeth Medley, Fountain Run, KY;

A brother-in-law: Richard Blankenship, Scottsville, KY;

3 nephews: Stephen Medley, Ricky Blankenship (Faye) and Sammy Blankenship (Lisa), all of Scottsville, KY;

1 niece: Angel Blankenship, Scottsville, KY;

3 great nephews: Darren Blankenship, J. C. Meador and Brendan Perry, all of Scottsville, KY;

5 great nieces Sarah Borders (Mitch) and Ashley Hall (Steven), all of Westmoreland, TN; Sheryl Mitchell, Scottsville, KY; Jessica McClay, SC; Heather Jones, Fountain Run, KY.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Elizabeth Ann Blankenship and a brother: James Darrell Medley.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Pardue officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
