The following was
lovingly written by B.A.'s family...
Bird Albert "B.A." Farmer,
a devoted husband, father, grandfather,
great-grandfather, and master craftsman,
passed away peacefully at home
in Mannford, Oklahoma,
surrounded by his loved ones.
He was 74.
Born on July 10, 1950, in Mountainair, New Mexico,
B.A. spent his early years in Fayetteville, Arkansas,
where his strong work ethic and
love for the outdoors began to take shape.
On July 12, 1968, he married the love of his life,
Sandra Kildow, and together
they built a life full of love, family, and purpose.
B.A. worked as a fitter welder for 27 years
at Waner and Fabsco,
where his creativity and skill set him apart.
Beyond his professional career,
he poured his talents into
countless personal projects,
crafting custom pieces for friends and family.
A true craftsman,
B.A. built the home his family lived in, as well
as two others for his children-
lasting testaments to his dedication and handiwork.
An avid outdoorsman,
B.A. found peace and joy in nature.
He especially loved fishing for catfish,
hunting deer, and tending to his garden.
Always active and hands-on,
he could often be found
building, fixing, or helping someone in need-
there was rarely a day he wasn't
making something or
giving his time to others.
At the heart of B.A.'s life was his family.
He cherished every moment spent with his children,
grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
His steady presence, quiet strength,
and unwavering love left
a lasting impact on all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by
his father, John Farmer;
his mother, Zola (Farmer) Armstrong;
and his siblings John Farmer, Wilma Nash,
Rita Turner, and Randy Farmer.
B.A. is survived by his
beloved wife of nearly 57 years, Sandra Farmer;
his children: Andrea Berry
and her husband J.B.,
Kristi Bentkowski and her husband Chris,
and Jeff Farmer and his wife Yvon;
his grandchildren: Kristin Thomas,
Kayla Miller-Deason,
Ashley Lacy, Karson Lacy,
John Bentkowski, Evelyn Bentkowski,
and Addison Bentkowski;
and his great-grandchildren:
Dicey Thomas, Enoch Thomas,
Kaya Thomas, Payton Miller,
Coralie South, Lane South,
Harper South, Decklin Taylor, and Aurora Lacy.
He is also survived by his brothers
Cloyd Farmer and Doug Farmer.
B.A.'s life was a reflection of loyalty,
love, and generosity.
He was the kind of man who showed up-
hands ready to work, heart open to give,
and spirit strong to lead.
His legacy lives on in the lives
he touched and the family he
built with his own two hands.
